Designed by a workman who also did community theatre and grew increasingly frustrated by having to tear down his painstakingly crafted elaborate sets. One day, after the last performance, instead of tearing up the famous pirates ship he popped a set of wheels on it and rolled it to his other job. While the other painting crews were still messing with setting up their scaffolds and ladders, his crew was already finished with the first coat at to the pub for lunch while the paint was drying. He went into research and development shortly after and emerged five years later with this, the perfect synthesis of theatrical sets and high quality, heavy duty workplace equipment.
These high quality heavy duty rolling platforms are often used be used exclusively for high altitude maintenance jobs and many other industrial applications and never get to have plays staged on them. Strange world, eh?
